Hello my friends!
This will be an extra long fashion dilemma post due to the fact that I kept forgetting to take photos of my outfits so I had to do a little catch-up shoot with Matt for what I wore over the weekend on our trip to Savannah.
I have to say it has been a bit odd to be taking photos of what I am wearing when I leave my house, but it has also been educational. Sometimes you just don't realize how things look until you see photos.
That's what this challenge is all about really. I want to better educate myself on what is working with my fashion choices and what is not. What am I wearing that is making me look too old, too young, or just plain unflattering?
With that said let's head into this weeks (well....the past two weeks) outfits!

Hi cousin!
ReplyDeleteIt's been awhile! I love this idea of photographing what you wear, it's a great way to help track and develop your style and taste!
As far as these outfits go, # 2, for your birthday was my favorite outfit. You seemed to pull together the perfect colors and accessories for a fun day out and about!
I also think you hit the nail on the head with finding attractive and professional clothes that you can still move around in for working weddings with Matt in #4 and #5!
For #3, I like the dress and shirt together. And I like the leggings a lot too, but for my taste I'm not sure that I think it's the best color to compliment the other two shades of blue you have going on with the dress and shirt. Black or some kind of black pattern legging is always classic. For this specific outfit if you were feeling extra confident, I'd even maybe take the yellow or perhaps a dark green from the cowl you are wearing as a color to draw from for the color of the leggings. I think you could rock it =)
Hope FL is treating you well. Also, the San Francisco Bay area is known to be windy and cold for 6 months a year. And I happen to be IN LOVE with your cowl. How can I buy one/many from you to help me stay warm out here? I've searched your blog home for a link to some sort of website you might have for all your crafts, but can't seem to find one. I'd love to take a look at your stuff. And I'd especially love to order some beautiful cowls =)
Thanks Jessie! (Sorry you will forever be Jessie to me! ;)
ReplyDeleteI do have an Etsy shop! I am currently working on re-vamping the look of this blog including adding links to the Etsy shop!
I don't have any cowls in the shop just yet ( i will probably be waiting until fall to add some) but you can definitely order something custom!
That type of yarn works really well for cowls ! It comes in the colors shown (mix of blues, greens, and tans) or more of a "purpley" blend (a darker plum type color is the main color in it) with come lighter pink and tan. I can text you photos of some other yarns if you like!
FACEBOOK ME your number and we can figure out how to get you a cowl to keep warm with! :)
