Inspire Me Monday : Current Favorite Online Read

It's a rainy rainy day here in Florida. My day has been filled with errand running, a a lot of work on crochet projects for my shop. Since I have been able to be creative today I have had a lot of time to think about what is inspiring me right now.

Whenever I sit down to catch up on my favorite blog reads I always find myself at Katie is the owner of Darlingtonia Moccasin Co. and Collected, a shop filled with vintage wares and handmade pieces.

She is such a lovely entreoupernour. I find her handmade goods and general aesthetic pleasing and so inspiring , and I love her little peeks into how her business operates. She shows everything from her creative process, to workflow, and even right down to her packaging!
Isn't she adorable...and bonus! She's got a sweet little miniature dachshund named Beatrix that she frequently shares details about!

I have included some of my favorite business related posts! I love this post about working for yourself ! This is a handy little post about time management and her general workflow...and here's a sweet little post on her packaging!

Take a look at her lovely blog I just know that you will be inspired too!

Fashion Dilemma Weekly Roundup : Week 4!

It's Friday once again! I know that for some of you that means you work (or school) week is finally over and you can breathe a big sigh of relief! It's the weekend! But the simple fact that it's Friday means that it's time for the Fashion Dilemma weekly roundup!

I really think that my fashion sensibilities are getting better with every week! Just the simple act of seeing photos of my outfits has helped me to select them better I think! I even wore dresses twice this week!

But I must apologize for the fact that once again I neglected to remember to take photos of EVERY outfit I wore this week. Some of the times I just plum forgot and others well....I was running behind and in such hurry to leave the house that I couldn't spare the time to stop and snap a photo! Without further come some outfits!

1. Birthday shopping with my mom!

dress: Forever 21 from Plato's Closet
shoes: Target
shell necklace :handmade by me!

2. Church
shoes: Payless
jeans: Forever 21 from Plato's Closet
shirt: Forever 21
shell necklace: handmade by me!

3. Errands

jeans: Forever 21 from Plato's Closet
shirt :Forever 21
earrings: handmade by me!
scissors necklace:handmade by me!
shoes: Payless

4. Date night with Matt!

dress: Forever 21
shoes: Target
earrings: Forever 21

Well...there you have it. It's not much but there is this weeks fashion story! I think that outfit #3 is the one that I felt the best in! I get sick of dresses really quickly but I love the ease of a good pair of jeans!

I'm also sensing a few patterns in where I tend to shop the most (Forever 21) and which are my favorite accessories (usually a necklace that I have recently made.
I do plan to share some fun from my adventures in learning to make jewelry...but more on that later!

Have a beautiful weekend!

Fashion Dilemma : Weeks 2 and 3

Hello my friends!
This will be an extra long fashion dilemma post due to the fact that I kept forgetting to take photos of my outfits so I had to do a little catch-up shoot with Matt for what I wore over the weekend on our trip to Savannah.

I have to say it has been a bit odd to be taking photos of what I am wearing when I leave my house, but it has also been educational. Sometimes you just don't realize how things look until you see photos.
That's what this challenge is all about really. I want to better educate myself on what is working with my fashion choices and what is not. What am I wearing that is making me look too old, too young, or just plain unflattering?
With that said let's head into this weeks (well....the past two weeks) outfits!

I just wanted you all to know that I do have about three pairs of Forever 21 jeans from Plato's Closet.
Yes readers...I do wash my clothes! lol

Please feel free to leave me comments about what you think is working for me and what is working against me! (again....please be kind in your wording)
