Favorites Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope that your week has been beautiful!
I have been trying to hard this week to make sure that I devote time to being creative, time to breath and re-boot. I think that it's important.
This weeks favorites are things that inspire me, that make me happy, and my first favorite thing this week is just something I have been inspired to do.
Here we go!

1. I really want to start wearing more skirts and dresses! It just says Spring to me, and also I want to make an effort to dress more feminine. I have been drooling over these beauties from modcloth....pretty pretty pretty!

Indie Darling Dress
Clueless Skirt
Dee-lightful Dress
Grecian Green Dress
About the Author Dress
Tropicalia Skirt

2. I absolutely ADORE how Rachel McAdams is styled in Sherlock Holmes! Her wardrobe is lovely, I especially loved the menswear pieces that she wears in the movie! Add amazing hair and makeup and the look couldn't be more perfect!

Also, I love Rachel McAdams in general. I love her style and the way she carries herself.
So here's some eye candy.

3. Turquoise and green Etsy loves!

4. Weiner dogs! I could be having the worst day , but if I see someone walking a dachshund or two it turns my whole day around! They are just so funny and cute looking with their long bodies and big ears....they make me giggle to myself every time!
Of course these two top photos are my dog Daisy!
But this little photo is a dog I don't know.....how could you not want to just snuggle and play with this little guy?

5. Cooking and table setting!
Matt and I used to spend alot of time cooking together and we also used to entertain alot!
I miss it so much and I want to get back to it!

Ahhhhh....who wants to have dinner with me at this table?
Gorgeous!

Missions accomplished!

Lately I have been thinking about things that I enjoy doing and I have been trying to find the time to be able to do more of those things.
I always love the weeks that I can set aside time specifically for crafting and being creative, I love getting in the zone and seeing where it takes me!

I had a chance to do a project this week that I have been thinking about for a while. I previewed it in my last post and I actually got a chance to finish it yesterday!
This week I have also done a lot more cooking, my friend Kendra posted a yummy recipe for brocolli cheese soup on her blog Fresh Cut, and I made it tonight for dinner....delicious!

Thanks again for the recipe Kendra! ....It was so yummy!

I told you that I would show you what I was doing with that orange yarn, beads, and that old tank top.....I made a new necklace!
I always like to pair a fun necklace with a more basic top.
The total cost of this necklace came to about $5...not bad!
Do you like it?

The newest on my must-have movie list

Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day is an enchanting and bright film based in London in 1939.
The story follows singer Delysia Lafosse (Amy Adams) and her "social secretary" Miss Pettigrew (Frances McDormand) all around London trying to find love and success .
This movie is about changing your point of view and re-defining what's really important.....but it's also beautiful!
It's one of my favorites right now...I highly recommend!

Friday Favorites!

I hope you are all having a splendid week.....I am. I don't know what it is but I just can't seem to catch up lately. I have been trying to take pleasure from the simple things in life. Here's my five favorite things this week:

1. Cap'n Crunch (berries) with vanilla ice cream. Such a simple concept...and so delicious!

2. Garage Sales! I do always love a good bargain, and there is nothing like getting up early with friends to get your hands on all the deals that you can fit into your car!
This week I am cleaning out everything in my house to get ready for a community garage sale next weekend!

3. It's no secret that I love Zooey Deschanel. I love her style, her acting style, and I absolutely love the sound of her voice!

4. White. I know that during Springtime most people get the urge to wear bright colors but this week all I have been wanting to wear is crisp white. I always feel clean, and crisp, and renewed when I'm wearing white.

5. I love that opening song from Funny Face with Kay Thompson "Think Pink" .
Funny Face is a beautiful film but I love this scene the best. It's just so darn ....girly!
I dare you to watch it and just tell me you don't feel super girly and want to wear pink!

Watch "Think Pink" here!

Don't forget about the She and Him giveaway!

Wedding Weekend Pt. 2 . . . . . .

Also known as wedding day! Jenny was gorgeous and Michael excited.
Ready?...Photos form the rest of my fun family weekend!

The beautiful bride getting her makeup done!
She already looks lovely even without before the dress!

I just love those first looks from the bride and groom at weddings.

I have a sister ! I only have a brother so that is very exciting to me!

The day after the wedding there was a gift opening brunch and then before the love birds were off on their honeymoon, we all poked around in downtown Safety Harbor where they were having chalk fest!

I do realize that I haven't given you any photos of the dress! We didn't get any with our camera but once I get my hand on some that other people got I will show you all!
I also have more photos from Chalk Fest coming up too!
