Re-painted Treasures

I found some lovely items at a local thrift store that needed an upgrade.
I got these cute owl wall plaques for .50 each, and the frame in the next photo for $2.
The owls were brown and the frame was bergundy, so I decided to paint them to make them match my decor better .
How do you think they turned out??
I haven't quite decided if I will keep the owls or if I will make them part of a gift to someone, as owls aren't really my thing but they are super cute!
The frame however, I am in LOVE with!

I haven't decided yet what exactly I will use the frame for. I may add a section of fabric covered cork or I might just leave the frame empty and hang it up. I was thinking about collecting beautiful frames and making an entire wall of just the empty frames.....we will see.

By the way, Krylon is the best brand of spray paint I have some across for almost any project. It sprays so evenly and the gloss has the perfect subtle shine. I wish I could have every color on hand for miscellaneous projects.

Have a good Monday everyone!
I'm planning a giveaway this week so stay tuned!
